No, don't stop just because you offended somebody.

I understand where you are going, but your statement is way too broad and vague. It could be interpreted, for instance, to mean that I shouldn't be in an interracial relationship because it offends the local community.

I think it's bullshit to expect someone to conform

This seems a bit .... sweeping. Every community, really? Including MRAs? What about the community represented by One Million Moms and their like? Should manufacturers stop featuring gay couples in their ads because it makes these people uncomfortable and they've asked them to stop it?

When someone in a community other than yours says what you are saying or doing makes them uncomfortable, stop.
