Second the Prius V! It’s not as high as the Aztek, but it’s got sooo much room inside. Although, in SoCal, it can hardly be called “weird”.

Had something similar happen on a ‘95 Mustang, except the mechanism was still working, it just wanted to stay locked. I could get out of the thing through the driver’s door, but not in. The electronic lock button would unlock it, but it always locked back up. Took apart the door and disabled the locking completely on

There’s a chance that it’s just a newer vehicle > older vehicle. With all the safety features meant to help you survive a high-speed collision, they may be safer to hide in than the older ones.

Mostly, big storms annoy me because that means my power will *definitely* be going out the next day.

Yeah, when you hear a Kansan talking about how they’re not scared of tornadoes, it’s not because we’ve seen so many of them, it’s because we haven’t. There are a ton of tornadoes here every year, but anytime one damages a town, it’s major news. Most of the time, tornadoes just result in pissed off farmers (if it’s cut

Isn’t Bragg’s the Apple Cider Vinegar pusher too?

How do you do it in an Instant Pot? Because I’ve tried it the SeriousEats way and what I ended up with were onions that were almost mush but barely caramelized.

Best addition to this. Outing someone who doesn’t want to be outed is a pretty shitty thing to do, and a pretty good way to end any relationship you might have with that person.

Replace the disinfecting wipes with baby wipes and you’ve got my vote.

/r/coffee for coffee news and stuff. (They can get a little elitist, but overall, they’re fine)

Daycare is awesome for kids even if you can easily take care of them for one big reason; socialization. This goes double for families with one kid. Daycare gives ours so many more opportunities to socialize with others her age than we could ever.

In a lot of places, $15/hr is pretty decent. My current job started me $14/hr and that was MASSIVE improvement on my finances. I considered myself somewhat financially stable for the first time ever starting then.

Do it the SeriousEats way!

Do they, though? Cause I sure as hell didn’t see it as a kid and I really don’t see it now that I’m a parent.
