I never said I had a connection to anyone who plays esports cause I don’t. I just enjoy watching it over athletic sports. I care about the gameplay, not the players/teams.

We’ll agree to disagree. Even the alums (and relatives?) is still barely a connection. “OMG that kid paid a lot of money to go to the same school I went to. And now he’s throwing a ball on that field!” Think of your high school team? Do you still go to games or feel a connection with them. I could give 2 shits what my

Even at college level, they are all recruited from different parts of the country. And rooting for any team below that (high school) will normally mean you have a stake in the game (eg: your kid is on the team).

The whole “My team” is extremely arbitrary. It’s a game played by people who dont’t live in your state who are hired to do a job and it’s run by an owner and coaches who also aren’t from your state. And we call them the “home team”..

You aren’t missing anything. There is no reason to do it. I have a hard last name to pronounce. I do not pre-emptively show people how to pronounce it. If they do mis-pronounce it, I can correct them nicely or just ignore it. I certainly don’t get offended. That isn’t any different.

This is my beef with most all network TV series. they have taken that formula and drilled it so far underground, I just stopped watching. The Wire, Dexter, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, etc have spoiled me. I love that shows have evolved and actually want to tell a story without 30 min of predictable filler, but it feels

Don’t tell me what to do

So lazy means not using any modern convenience? Is that even a viabile argument? I’d tell you to look up what lazy means, but you know.. sounds like you’re super busy arguing with people. Gotta love the irony there.

Hours?? lol It’s 13 pages. You couldn’t even be bothered with it enough to click on the link. And you don’t have to read it for ever purchase.

Being in IT, it was actually my job to read some of the EULA’s for software we purchased. It’s certainly not hard to understand. None of the EULA’s I’ve read in my time have ever been hard to read or understand. Long, yes.. exhaustingly so sometimes, but certainly not some legal speak that only lawyers can comprehend.

+1 for Six of Crows. I never read Shadow & Bone, but i’m a 45 year old male and really loved Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. Such great novels!

Not surprising as I see them posted on here like every other week.

So, hire Michael Bay to do the editing?

FTFY

Clerks 2 is def a very good film. Still enjoyable and a solid sequel.

Exactly why I came to the comment section. Lawyers get an insane percentage from these suits.

All of the first Spider-Man villians are like that. It’s one thing I really loathe about the series. There are no real bad guys.

Reminds me of this..

yea.. It’s just a “clever” way to rehash the Verge article about Provio (or Phobio... however you want to spell it)
