Everyone here is a jackass: the recliner, the reclinee, the flight attendant, and (most significantly) the airlines who treat their customers like cattle.

Also programmer, using darkened editors for 10+ years, definitely healthier than staring at a bright white screen all day.

I’ve gone dark every chance I get with my interfaces. I’ve been doing it ever since Microsoft let you tweak your UI with a custom pallete. So if 20+ years is a fad... *shrug*   I am a programmer though, so your mileage may vary.

Seriously, I don’t get this blind devotion to Steam. Sure, it’s convenient to have all your games collected in a single system, but why on Earth are you getting miffed about a publisher choosing to sell a game themselves when they have the means?

I’m not understanding the “Steam has a stranglehold on the market” and “Steam in a monopoly” whining going on. You do realize that Steam allows Devs/Publishers to generate steam keys where they can sell them on other stores. Dev/Pub correct me if I’m wrong but my understanding is there is no fee associated with this

That’s how it should be looked at now. Cyberpunk is no different from steam, atom, or dieselpunk. A look at the future that never came to pass but can still be enjoyed, tropes and all.

Isn’t that like saying steampunk should start using solar panels? It just wouldn’t be steampunk anymore, it’d be something else. Which is fine, but we’d probably use a different term to refer to it.

It’s just preparing for the midterms.

To each their own. Personally, I loved it. Does it give Lorca’s behaviour a cop out? Probably. Did they hang a lantern on the twist? Absolutely not.

If the show itself can’t hide the twist, so you just have to lie in the press and public, you’ve failed.
