Heated steering wheel?

I was there on the Friday and the car did some high 1:29s . The race track record is a 1:16 by an INDYCAR and the unofficial record is a 1:13 done by Marc Gené in an F1 Cliente Corsa a few years ago.

To me, the question boils down to having staff split the bill. I don’t understand in this day and age that have separate bills is not possible from a order POS system. The only complaint I can see is that you may now have to swipe 1 card per person. Big deal.

A couple of things that dig at me in these sort of reports / shows (e.g. Wheeler Dealers) is they never say how much time it took to complete the project, nor the specialized tools / installation used. (though admittedly it was clear on W-D)

Yes, but I thin the point is, if you can only choose one, you choose snow tires before anything else.

Nah, it’s not a wagon.... or diesel..... or Wankel....

This is exactly what should be done and if you a conspiracy theorist, please stand up....

How can you argue that Formula E does not need fast charging? THEY CHANGE CARS DURING THE RACE in order to complete it.

Sir Patrick did it. He did it like a man. He asked for it. 4 billion years of crap haven’t killed us, a bit of sweaty booze is nothing. Hell, there will be some report out this week that will say that drinking alcohol is worse than drinking perspiration.

The title of the post says “frugal”, which implies saving money or resources. (at all costs). It might be worth it to you, but the point of the article is to best use resources (heat).

“warming-up” a car is a waste of energy, you are running at zero miles per gallon. Other than a few seconds after start there is no reason to wait. Drive slowly and deliberately (i.e. no harsh shifting) in the first few minutes and you will better warm up the components. and “save” gas since you are will be moving to

One of the main issues, other than pure cash, is that the P1 hybrid cars are currently reserved for factory entries. That said, the ACO can sit down with Toyota and Porsche and work something out.

If I could make one change, both at the GTLM and the P1 class it would be to pull down-force out of the car. Less down-force should mean less drag (unless you are named A. Newey) and thus more straight-line speed. However I would want to see this class stay as close to stock as possible.

2 cars from BAT in 3 hours... Who’s shilling who?

Hispano-Suiza

Not the first person to do this...
