I played the fan translation growing up and she was childish in it, but not with the annoying speech impediment, and she was so much better in that version.

Goofy was classic.

My wife (just married sunday!) and I got this because she never games, and since the quarantine is happening, i thought this lax , mellow game was perfect to start her out on. I’m the primary on our island and we just decide together on arrangements. Got a Switch Lite today so I can play with her
