I kinda wonder though, what is the company supposed to do?  At least they’re trying to open a dialogue on it, even if it feels kind of forced.  It’s certainly a step up from the usual “let’s try to avoid talking about this until it goes away”.

As I understand it they are like Uber; independent contractors that are sitting around waiting for a food order to fulfill. They get paid by delivery fees and tips but are in fact employed, or at least associated with, GrubHub and not the individual restaurants.
