any updated thoughts on the season?

do we know if it's been renewed for season 2 yet? i love this show, such a guilty pleasure. i was disappointed by the small amount of screen time emily lacey and kitty had in the finale, but look at miss lacey's fine new hat!

closed captions said it was lily on the baby monitor

What do you suggest? A daring daylight robbery of Fort Knox on elephant back? That's the dumbest thing I ever heard.

i keep wondering why christopher sunday was the only one who seemed to know about the alternative timeline. and what happened to the shoes?? there's symbolism there… about something…

who's dad also ignores her :(

then again he can't seem to see how unhappy his own wife is so he might just be utterly clueless.

Or…. is it assumed that only men can be fertile (since they can't be sterile), they'd be assigned a handmaid so they could bang out 2 kids at the same time?

you called it ;)

God, there's a soprano reference for everything. carry on sir.

Ok major spoiler as well - here's my biggest issue: she gets into Columbia on a rowing scholarship - AND YOU NEVER SEE HER DO ANYTHING WITH IT. Like it only exists as a way to move the plot and allow her to go to school without money. She mentions practice once - uhm as a former college rower who had to get up at

Yeah that's it in a nutshell. She made so much progress last season with her relationship with Dong, not letting Titus walk all over her, coming to terms with her Mom, going to therapy.

Well I can name a lot more specific reasons but I didn't want to give spoilers. And to be fair that's how I watched S1 and S2 as well (and other Netflix shows), didn't have the same feeling.

i've already watched the entire season and this may be one of the better episodes. idk, S3 feels rushed to me, it's like if Kimmy got progressively stupider. there are still a few jokes that made me bust out laughing as usual and I love having Xan back, but overal disappointed.

Hmmm the actor playing grandpa ennis was 74 for perspective and the younger actor is 26. So they are stretching a 35 year difference when it's really 48.

the actress playing nancy was completing me last night. those eyes burn right thru you, literally they look like they could start shooting laser beams. fantastic.

I thought it was supposed to highlight her as a foil to her mother, who she was embarrased by when the feminist crusader would take her to protests like book burnings. Also maybe there was some commentary on how she began her relationship with her husband as his mistress, even back then she was dependent on him. Not

well freedom can be relative i guess. this is freedom for her. she doesn't have to make decisions for basic survival, to say that was taxing day in day out is an understatement. it's still a messed up argument in that since she was treated poorly by the previous institutions the new one who treats her nicely must be

I really enjoyed the expansion the new ofglen - she served as a good reminder that some people might even embrace such horrific changes with open arms.

just saw the new trailer - you were right!
