These early 80's FXWG tanks have always been a favorite of mine.

STOP PAINTING WHEELS BLACK!!!!

Not me, but my dad. I think it’s appropriate though as I was handed down this very car and drove it for years with the same dent.

+1 for the frisky dingo reference!  Well, bring out the bamboo!

WIND WINGS!

Agree, Fuck these things. Different reason though. My ‘17 silverado has this dumb fucking flap. Unless you are actively PUSHING the pump nozzle into the fucking fill tube it clicks off the pump every five seconds. I am by no means someone who locks the pump and gets back into the car to let it fill. I’ve never left it

Just so you are all aware, “big twin” refers to all the Harley overhead valve engines that are not sportsters. I really don’t know shit about any other brand of motorcycles. I don’t know anything about ducatis other than you have to be a guy that wears Puma driving shoes as casual footwear to even think about buying

I’m also 29 years old. Just fyi. Not a baby boomer.

They’re awesome motors. I love them. We did a 883-1200 conversion on my buddies bike. Flowed heads from hammer performance, 10:1 pistons, and andrews n4 cams (.490 lift and 256 duration) and its dumb fast. It idles like a racecar. It’s in a totally stripped down and hardtail sportster frame, so its a little scary.

;)

Erik Buell did great things for harley. The FXR was the only fighting chance they had. And a fantastic motorcycle. I sold mine last year, and I never get emotionally attached to vehicles, the only one I really miss.

Stock from harley, the evo sportster motor is vastly understressed. Spend a weekend and a fewhundred bucks on high comp pistons, cams, and an ignition module and they will reliably make 70+ HP. And they dont rev like a honda, but rev better than any big twin.

LOL. You sound like an asshole, so I’ll assume you are an asshole.

not really a grammar guy but shouldn’t that first sentence read “indpendentLY run coach builder” or just “independent coachbuilder.”  “Independent run coachbuilder” sounds totally wrong.

“What’s the lowest you’ll take?” has got to be the number one response to craigslist listings of all time.

Best lie yet!

came here to say this. needs to be under load.

At least have 4' between the wheel wells. Length isnt so much an issue. The reason I didn’t buy a tacoma. (Short bed, reg cab owner.)

Damn, My grandpa was a good one. Drank a glass of olive oil everyday. Claimed to hang out with Sinatra, and actually talked to him like they were old friends when they saw him in a restaurant. Frank was confused.
