You have me suddenly thinking that maybe what the producers missed was leaning into an edit that foregrounded the utter flopsweat panic.

for a Snatch Game I would study all the celebrity impressions of Saturday Night Live and pick up the ones that are easier to replicate.

I mean - based on expecting the large, young cishet female audience to not get an AbFab reference?

In my IMDB efforts last night to try and unearth just wtf Ru was talking about on a project with Drew, I was reminded of Ru’s seminal, important contributions to the 1989 masterwork Pickle Surprise:

When Lady Camden toyed with the idea of doing Joanna Lumley I cheered. I’ve been saying for years she’s the perfect choice for Snatch Game. I can’t understand why no one - especially in the U.K. - hasn’t done her yet.

Early Ru is unclockably stunning.

If you’ve ever watched one of Iris’ ‘Inside the Atelier’ videos - the remarkable fusion of 21st century techniques and materials and old couturier craftsmanship and detail are just something the queens can’t expect to accomplish, for as many efforts as we’ve seen, to accomplish the particular remarkable structure and

It was certainly a test, but I don’t expect that it would’ve demanded specific knowledge of that show. (and yes, I also had to Google wth she be talkin bout)

Y’all out here doin the Lordt’s Work.

Does Rupaul expect ANYBODY to remember that he worked with Drew Barrymore one summer?

the mini challenge was ugly as fuck but I agree on Angeria being the best at it. It was just a beautiful dress.

I think the trick is the definition of “overall this season has been really good”.

Random ‘pinions that no one asked for:

I’m recalling that critique coming up on this week’s Pit Stop - and absolutely fits Deja’s MO of persistent fit and tailoring issues. There’s clearly skill and construction technique, but a remarkable absence of a designerly eye for editing.

Also Nicole Byer gives some of the best advice, she can be cutting in a really nice way.

I don’t mind in-so-much as Bosco was legitimately the only laughs I got from their panel - as dad-joke setup-rimshot structured as they were. I’ll agree with you insofar as I’m not sure this was her week for a win, in comparison to the relative effortless ease with which Willow worked humor into her decidedly heavy

I agree that the runway was a letdown. And I just couldn’t get into Deja’s garment, which should have been 8-bit ‘80s blocky, pixellated, fun, but read as cheap and tacky. And overpowering, as has come to be usual for the season, but in a boxy way.

No asked for totally Random ‘pinions:

don’t think anyone in production wants a foreigner (born) taking a role for native north Americans (this is not drag race Holland S1).

Had to hit up the RPDR wiki to check. Claims three Blondie lipsyncs (including S14E7, natch).
