I expect this also speaks to what separates an All-Stars season from our regular seasons. The challenges for regular seasons are more overtly designed to push and test the girls to the limits of their talent and skillsets, and often beyond. More than versatility, I find the regular seasons are a test of adaptability.

Ultimately, I think the Rigga Morris debate revolves around trying to parse Dela’s motivations. I don’t think anyone would disagree that Ben is generally genial, fair, and egalitarian. But that still leaves plenty of wiggle room to allow for her choices (Tati: “Choices.”) tonight being not purely altruistic in nature.
