Just wanted to like and point out that is how you have a good conversation, with a well thought out response even though we differ on views here. The phrasing was heavy handed, to say the least to me, and was unnecessary. It drew attention away from the actual great piece of art that was Get Out into something else.

I don’t think you followed the writing - last paragraph Clover is talking about experiences OUTSIDE the movie, i.e. a visit to the grocery store, interactions with those near her in the theater.....when you make a clear disconnect away from the movie and into ‘real life’ and then follow up with ‘white people paying…
