I flew into Prague a little while ago and got a sim card at the Vodaphone shop right in the airport with helpful staff that made it as easy as possible. That's just for local calls though. I use Skype for everything else.
I've broken 2 of those Ikea chairs just by sitting on them very much. At least they're dirt cheap.
London Broil?
Those won't sound as good as my NS-10s.
do they have this for windows mobile? that and an iphone version they would be able to collect a lot of data really quickly, this could change the world!
buy bike dynamo or generator, buy usb converter, and that's it, these people have making quality long lasting dynamos and generators for decades, there's no hacking required, just order, receive and hook it all up, or better yet have the local bike shop do it, this is simple stuff here, don't reinvent the wheel, and…
Huge waste of time and money. Get the best 6V generator that money can buy for $51 here: [www.peterwhitecycles.com] . The converter to charge USB for 55 euro from here: [www.jawetec.de] .
I'm still pissed at YouTube for letting Sony BMG take down all the good Rocio Durcal videos. Ironically they still have tons of Marisol clips. La vida es una tombola!
You can get an HTC Touch HD for 700 unlocked. Main advantages are 480x800 screen and micro sd, plus a decent camera, removable battery, no "jailbreaking" or other silly restrictions. They should have Android working on it sooner or later. It's definitely not as user friendly out of the box as the iphone, but if you…
@Junkan: I don't know, it seems that often times people see their plants are dying so they figure they must need more sun and take them outside. A plant that isn't used to being under intense direct sunlight will be shocked and probably die at that point if it wasn't doing that well to begin with. How would you like…
the rings aren't doing it for me, and the flowers don't help
I'll stick with Paddy for my everyday drink. Only 13 Euro a bottle in Spain (compared to about 25 in Ireland! don't think they have it in the states) It's much better than Jameson, and like all Irish whiskeys that aren't peated it doesn't have that musty old peat taste. Peat is good for burning in your fire place,…
@Jon Leopold: Those 6 volt hubs are kind of weak. The only way to get good illumination is with a BUSCH & MÜLLER 12 volt generator. The whole setup might cost more than your bike but you can use it forever, unless somebody swipes it when your bike is locked up outside.
Save money on whiskey too. You can get a bottle of Knappogue Castle for 30 dollars that's way better than most nasty old Scotch costing many times more.
You can make a really nice pizza with one of those extra large pita breads fresh from your nearest middle eastern grocery/bakery. The crust is done so you can just use a toaster oven to brown it a little and melt your toppings.
@WildaGlam: 2 dollars in tiles, but how much does it cost to keep the broiler on for over 45 minutes just to feed one person?
Why not use low interest card(s) to make all purchases, groceries, gas, etc, and the cash that you save by charging everything goes to pay off the high interest card(s)
For Windows Mobile you can download all kinds of tile based maps including Open Street Map with gMapMaker [www.mgmaps.com] and then use them offline in Mobile gMaps [www.mgmaps.com]
