Google maps has all kind of dirt roads and trails and things that you don't see at all on map quest, the satellite view is amazingly detailed, and you even have the terrain view so you can avoid having to bicycle up really steep hills, unless you really want to.

I replaced lcd screen and battery on my 4th gen ipod. Now the hard drive is dying, another easy replacement, but I think I'll be upgrading to a touch instead. I'll miss the quality of the D/A converter on the 4th gen though.

If you eat a 300 calorie meal you're not going to feel as full as if you ate a 900 calorie meal, and you will be hungry again sooner. Your body will tell you how many calories are in a meal if you just listen to it.

My biggest problem is always my toes. I found that just lacing my shoes as loosely as possible helps a bit and a circle of plastic from a heavier grocery bag wrapped around the toes helps even more. They get a little sweaty but better for them to be warm and humid than cold and dry.
