That lede image is so profoundly sad it’s crushing. Look at that body language. That is the picture of the very instant a young man’s entire world view changed from something full of hope and joy and excitement to something full of fear and anger and cynicism.

LoL people behave like animals on planes these days. Fight over seat space, fight over overhead bins, fight over whether chairs should recline or not, fight over noise, fight over smells, whatever, sure, let’s have them fight over food too. If you were tasked with crystalizing the covid/post-covid era breakdown of

Did the yellow bit come off the spoiler ?

Can you really call it a copy if they fixed everything that was wrong with the original version?

So, how the dealers will get around this....

This all really seems like it is none of my business

Brand new 2023 Morgan three-wheeler on Hemmings for $53k

I’m so glad I didn’t have to scroll down past comment #2 to see Morgan. As soon as I saw his list, that’s the name that came up.

Bingo.

This is the correct answer. If the guy wanted a daily driver, then a LC or Cayman would be great. This guy wants to look cool and specifically mentioned British Roadster. He should not be getting the Lexus, Porsche, or Corvette that every other retired dentist/lawyer/etc buys.

I am glad my dad bucked the trend. Somewhere in his sixties he traded in his 90's dad uniform and started to buy trendy, untucked shirts and running shoes instead of “dad” trainers. Instead of Camaros and Corvettes, he worked his way from an A4 up to an S5 convertible.

The answer is Morgan. Might not be able to get a brand new Plus 4 for under $70k, but recent, new ones are there.

Firstly, I am completely unsurprised to see the word “Florida” featuring in this story; secondly, I look forward to the movie of this dropping on Disney+ next year.

The jerk-ass version of that is wiring the horn to the brakes.

I sold our 2005 Subaru Outback XT Limited to a guy back in Sept 2022 (SW Ohio). I told the guy it came with two sets of wheels and tires (factory 17” wheels with A/S and Forester 16” wheels with Bridgestone Blizzak WS80). In his infinite wisdom he basically told me I wasted my money and wasn’t interested in the other

Not a pizzaioli but a many-decades cook/chef; if you can get Calabro it’s IMO better than either of these two (which are still very good).

There are worse ways to spend your massive fortune. I love the Pre-Ford PAG Aston’s. They were quintessentially British. Look at that beautiful interior.

I love that Toyota is big enough that they can partner with other brands to keep fun cars in production.  It’s increasingly hard to make a business case for these ventures, but I’m glad they’re finding a way.

Kinda like the Fiata.
