Considering what they chose NOT to delete, I am sure the deleted scenes will just be even more facepalmingly, headeskingly infuriating.
I was shocked, looking at the concept art, that it did include scenes from so many story lines. I don't know how Gaiman would be able to comfortably fit the five arcs you mention (at least) comfortably into three movies, not to mention the minor characters depicted above like Hob Galding, Nada, and Nuala.
I recently read a review (can't remember where) of Raimi's "Drag Me to Hell" which described it as an exercise in having as many disgusting things as possible go into or come out of the female star's mouth. I'm starting to think Raimi has a fetish that's showing through in his films...
