So I guess I'm a LSH truther. Because if I were writing the show:

It still doesn't make a lot of sense because even if you assume that we can fully automate the supply chain (robots do all the work), there's some things that can't be replicated and thus will be scarce and retain their value.

The whole point of Marvel's properties is that they're all supposed to be taking place within the same universe. So I was sorry to see this show has the same problem as Daredevil. Where's the Avenger's tower in those shots of the NYC skyline?

They also still own Flickr, which manages to hang around as the best service of its kind despite what I can assume are Yahoo's best attempts to kill it.

Carol had two pragmatic reasons for shooting the guy. One, it got Morgan to re-join the fight rather than spend additional time checking his knots or whatever he was doing at that point. And two, there was no guarantee that some other wolf wouldn't come along and untie the dude.

That's the part that rankles me. I can believe a President who murders and gets away with it. I can believe that everyone in DC is corrupt. I can believe all the backroom wheeling and dealing and blackmail; hell if the show has any fault there it's that there's not enough money changing hands and lobbyists offering

You get the sense that they made him a Democrat in order to accusations of liberal hollywood painting Republicans as evil, but they're basically writing him (and his party) as Republicans despite that.

The problem isn't too much objectivity. Objectivity is exactly what we should expect from journalists. They should report the facts, and most journalists emphatically don't do this. Calling bullshit is being objective, and there's not enough of that.

It does explicitly say "scripted" series. That usually excludes most forms of reality TV.

It was a good joke *because* Max had no idea who Alfred was. She knew Robin was Batman's sidekick back in the day, but at that point she didn't have any reason to be familiar with the name of Bruce Wayne's (presumably deceased) butler.

How are lasers better than bullets? Lasers still take a ton of energy and that energy dissipates pretty quickly (inverse square law). On the other hand, bullets will travel indefinitely and hit their target with the same energy that they left the muzzle with, since there's no air resistance for the bullet to deal

I second it being a TV show, that would be the right way to flesh out a Ghostbusters "universe". The premise would be easy to adapt into a monster-of-the-week type show with the potential for more serialized season long narratives. Plus a show would give the breathing room to explore more kinds of stories than just

With regards to the Pet Peeves area SPOILERS AHOY:

I think this is a lies, damn lies and statistics thing. If Michael Jordan and 37 other couples get married, the average cost of their weddings is going to be around $27k no matter what everyone who's not Michael Jordan spent.

That assumes she holds onto it for the next three decades. Also do the others on the show rent or own their places?

The Simpsons is kind of surreal. One day it just flipped from having a floor of 7.5 to having a ceiling of 7.5. With few exceptions, the best episodes after season 10 don't hold up to the worst episodes before that.

In Game of Thrones I think it's less of a big deal to just stretch out the timeline to account for aging. The first five books take place over the course of 3+ years. The show will take place roughly over the course of 8ish, which I think it can manage because the passage of time in the show is pretty obfuscated, it's
