The barn is not on fire?

I like to respond to stupid with stupid :)

Came here for this, left happy. The series has nothing to do with actual cars or driving and never has. The scripts are as shitty as the acting, and the majority of the stunts are CG.

The only thing that can stop a bad guy on a sport bike without a gun is a BMW driver with a gun.

And therein lies the problem. Nobody elected any of these people arbiters of road manners. People trying to teach each other a lesson on the road only leads to trouble, and it would appear that every person in this video was guilty of this (well, except for the passenger of the BMW, but her behavior is a different

I’m with you on the “no true Scotsman” logical fallacy. However, it’s easy to fix it by switching a few words around.

What kind of person are you? These guys deserved to die for acting like assholes? Is this how you really feel or are you just being an internet tough guy?

I think that RevengencerAlf probably put it better than I could, but I’ll throw my $0.02 in there too.

No, it doesn’t take that into account. If it did, it would show that our roads have been steadily becoming safer. The deaths per billion vehicle miles traveled has shrunk every year since 1949. In other words, more people are driving more without getting killed. Our highway deaths per year has been on a similarly

Not bad considering how high strung that motor is, right? I mean come on - it’s a 2.0L turbo making 290 peak HP stock. That B6 had to haul a lot more weight to haul (I had a 1.8T S4 Avant, too..and it only ot that kind of MPG on the highway with a tail wind).

    The schadenfreude is real.

Same color as my B7 was :)

Bummer. Audi is pretty much dead to me. I’ll keep on buying cars from manufacturers that cater to buyers like me. (I’d have bought a B8 S4 Avant 6MT if they sold it here.)

The Hammond, Jeeza, and Captain Slow Power Hour

Came here to post ED-209. Leaving satisfied.

I thought that mountain biking was just more interesting than road riding...I didn’t think that there was an ethical anti-douche aspect to it :)

Notice that his jeans split immediately upon hitting the pavement? If he had slid at all, he would have developed instant road rash.

Oh, one other thing...at least in it’s current version, Android Auto kind of sucks. I have it, and really bought into its promise initially. Unfortunately, there are several things that hold it back. First, it requires USB. It does not support wireless. This ended up being a big deal for me.

I believe that the 2017 S4 will be torque converter automatic only...not even a DSG.

22-23 is about right for city driving. Highway is more like 30. The S4 couldn’t get 22-23 on a downhill highway with a tail wind.
