It would be fantastic if fees were prorated.
By charging baggage check fees and allowing free carry-ons, some airlines have incentivized us to eschew the least valuable cargo space on the plane (in the belly) and use up the most valuable cargo space on the plane (in the passenger compartment).
The September 11 security fee is easily the most annoying fee that airlines (are forced to) charge us.
Very smart.
I would prefer that you used the term water foul to describe my people.
You just made me laugh out loud. You know, he wasn’t always a cop. He may have fractured an occasional law.
Hey, that’s *our* word. You don’t get to say that ;)
For occasions like this, I think that I need to have business cards made. On one side: “Pardon me, but” and on the other: “Sir or madam, you’re doing it wrong.”
Sweet baby jeepers, that’s how a straight six is supposed to sound.
I just checked. It appears that 996’s continue to depreciate.
I’ll look again. I find it hard to believe that those have finished depreciating.
It takes some finagling, and it varies from pump to pump. Sometimes, I have to half-insert the nozzle. One of the 911’s many idiosyncrasies that we’ll just chalk up to “character”.
As I watch that video, all I can think about is John Goodman’s lecture in Revenge of the Nerds. “You just got your asses whipped by a bunch of goddamned nerds!”
I mistakenly assumed that this issue died with the 993, but I guess that it makes sense with the fuel filler routing still going straight down the fender and then chasing inside the body. Glad I could help :)
I don’t understand...how do you display your license plate correctly? Should you have used a level or not used a frame?
It’s also really impractical. In non 964 chassis, it robs usable frunk space. Not so much in these cars, since they’re all 964 chasses, but it means always dripping fuel onto the front on fill ups. The original fender filler, while it has its issues (pump filler has to be upside down or it shuts off), it’s the best…
