Tyler the Creator disagrees about the Camargue.  Or maybe he thinks it’s ugly and that’s why he has one?

My brain keeps making the Hyundai Lavita into the “Latvia”...

Seems like the card reader would be such a simple solution... Does anyone know why this isn’t already in place? Are they trying to get around CC fees? Or simply hoping to data mine via their apps? Seems like they could still get sufficient metadata from Visa/Mastercard, no?

This Skeffles person has the wrongest of wrong takes.  Totally missing the point that this was an emergency.  Just enable the GPS temporarily then, locate the vehicle, then shut it off again.  How is that even complicated?

I’m suggesting that this would be offset by simplifying the drivetrain by removing the transfer case and front diff.  This would throw a small battery pack under the floor and an electric motor up front.  I’m sure it would cost a little more overall, but it solves the towing and range problems currently faced by pure

But this still doesn’t address the towing/road trip scenario that all EV trucks are struggling with...

Matt Farah needs to park this next to his new Boxster.

Can someone with access to GM please ask them why they abandoned the hybrid drivetrain for these big trucks?  First, they only put them in the short wheelbase versions, and they never made them plug-in hybrids like the Volt.  I’m hoping they use the new e-Ray technology and put a small battery pack in future

Ha!  Do you have any concept how many bazillions of dollars this would cost?

I can’t possibly be the only person that would feel exceedingly awkward pulling up to a campsite surrounded by minivans, pickups, hatchbacks and other cheap garbage cars and camping in this $200k ensemble.  It’s like building a mansion in a trailer park.  So weird.

RUST.

I don’t mind people taking advantage of the market.  This is pure capitalism and if someone has something that is scarce, and others want it, they should be allowed to profit.  What grinds MY gears is people that buy interesting cars and toss them in a garage for decades and then sell them with almost zero

After one drive you’ll see why this isn’t really all that great.  Slow and very old tech.  200 TQ was better and then the S4/S6 with the turbo-5 was great...but this is not where it’s at.

Can I just have it with a manual?  Design is fine.  Just want a clutch pedal.

The change will come when costs dictate.

Can we assume that all this good stuff will make its way to the RAV4 Prime as well?  And will there be a Highlander Prime?

I just want someone to tell me why they wouldn’t lead with this instead.  If this showed up first, it would have avoided so many of the “weaksauce” reviews and maybe given Acura a fighting chance against the industry stalwarts.  I feel like this was a huge marketing blunder and some people should be fired.

I really just don’t understand the logic here.  GM has access to so many sub-brands that could be the EV-only sports car.  Call them all Pontiacs...or Saturns...or Saabs!  This just doesn’t make sense.  The Corvette is a MODEL NAME...not a brand/marque.  So, will these be Chevrolet Corvette _____?  I just don’t

The only reason I would consider a Lease is if I wanted to try a brand new car and see how it does (in terms of maintenance) over the lease term.  I’m considering this myself because if I purchase something with a potentially dodgy service obligation (new Suburban, for example) and it turns out to be in the shop a lot

I thought satin/flat paint was done...no? I’m very much over it. Please stop.
