yes, yes it is.  Curb weight and Gross Vehicle Weight Rating are totally different

HOW do they make the Bentayga weigh over 7,000 pounds?  Is it equipped with lead ballast for sound deadening?  It’s not a very large SUV, honestly, so I really can’t understand how it ends up weighing like 1,000 pounds MORE than a Suburban, and 2,000 pounds more than the Genesis?  That’s like hauling a Miata around on

For this kind of money, just go get the car this was trying so hard to be:  Alfa Romeo 164L (or S).

I feel like Tesla is taking some of the *bad* cues from early Citroën, without realizing/acknowledging there are good reasons that various designs are consistently seen across manufacturers and models. Sometimes differentiation is good because it gets people talking and makes you unique. Sometimes it’s a failure

This.  With a huge floor, they could have batteries galore and then plug in to top off and a small “generator” under the hood.  No need for super long drive shaft either.  They could be AWD, in fact.  The generator could be configured for biodiesel or propane, too.  Why is this so hard to figure out?  It seems so

I kind of like it better with the doors and roof still black.  Looks like a Mega Smart Car.  I guess when the wrap starts to peel you can go Harlequin with it.

Isn’t this really just the same thing as Ford vs. Chevy people? It never really makes any sense, but the arguments can go on for days, with no end in sight. There are Tesla fanbois, but also Tesla owners that just own them because they are logical choices for many reasons. I think Elon is strange and I’m not an owner

Given that there are probably about a dozen of these still running and driving around, I’d say it’s worth the money just to have something super weird.  NP

Who will be the first to do an “overland” minivan from the factory with a warranty? AWD, air suspension with 33" A/T tires, partial hybrid for on-site power generation, roof racks, tons of tech, ready for sleeping. They’d sell like hotcakes

I used to put car audio mods at the top of my list when getting a new car, but that all stopped in about 2010 for me.  No one in my family ever wants to even turn it up very loud, they complain when it’s loud, in fact.  On top of that, the stock stuff has gotten so good, it’s barely worth the effort anymore.  When my

You didn’t even mention the obvious? Aznom backwards is MONZA https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Monza

Shoulda left the Comanche there too and got a few more bucks.

The unfortunate part about this story is that it focuses on long trips, which is widely known to be a challenge for *any* EV (even Teslas).  I feel like the reality of LiveWire ownership would be much more amazing.  It would be in your garage, always charged up and ready to rip.  Never have to gas it up or even warm

Unless you’re buying brand new, where the costs should be predictable, pricing of used cars is very subjective, but it shouldn’t be mysterious.  The comp might have different mileage, features, condition, colors, etc.  It’s just a price.  If it’s a fair price, sharing it shouldn’t be a secret.

That Cadillac Seville.  Man.  My neighbor had one of those in the 80s and it was such a looker.  And I swear the trunk had “power close” on it...was that a thing?

I think people are getting distracted by the manual.  This is still a large, wallowy, longroof with a sub-200 hp 6-cylinder and a made-for-autobahn gearbox/diff.  This isn’t going to be a “fun car” to drive on the weekends.  It’s just not worth the hassle, especially at $20k.  But I’m sure someone out there will

This is a thousand times better looking than the Cybertruck, too, and it’s not so damn weird in every way.  Also, it will exist.  Which is a benefit to buyers.

This is what happens when the designer zooms too far in on the CAD screen and finds itty bitty areas that “need attention” rather than designing a cohesive whole.  Cars looked better when they were designed using clay earlier in the process.  Now, I get the sense that it barely makes it off a tablet before they start

I agree 100% Jason, and I find it immediately desirable.  I don’t need this car to “grow on me” - I want it NOW.

Was it just me or did it sound down a cylinder or two?  Also, the blowby made me sad.
