Needs a Mr. Fusion.

Just because you *can* buy this car, doesn’t mean you should.  This is pure trash

Needs burnout pic for full effect of listing price.

Takes care of theft issues if you take the backpack with you when you park it.

Exactly! This was a throw-away vehicle when new...why try and preserve it now? I dunno. Not my cuppa tea. And for almost $4K?  CP.

I absolutely can’t afford one and won’t make sacrifices to do so, but this is cool

That one press photo has me thinkin’ “Pontiac Wide Track” lol

All of this shit is exactly why I started giving my work to a local shop.

I can already hear the mechanical fan woooooooshing on acceleration.  NP

Tyler Hoover needs to buy this.

I guess I should clarify.  Dailying it TO DEATH.  I daily drive my car but I have never driven something that looked like this shit.  You can use something every day but not let it waste away to garbage.

This will never work.  Drag strips exist and many people use them, but street racing is like a drug and part of the excitement is getting away with something illegal.  I don’t condone it, and my Volt surely won’t win me any races, but I think this is a waste of time...the racers will just go somewhere else.

As long as you tuck aside money for eventual G60 rebuilds, go for it!

It blows my mind that someone could possibly end up dailying something like this.  These were super special when new; every magazine was talking about the teeny V6.  It seems crazy that this could end up a roached out daily.  It absolutely deserves to be bought and lovingly restored.  This car is truly unique and I

Bullshit like constant maintenance and fiddly electronics.  And if you drive the TL, you’ll see that for spirited driving on streets, the FWD layout is fine, especially with a decent set of tires.

This is unfortunately correct.

Price is a bit high, but at the same time, this is a truly rare gem. As a person who has had the privilege of driving one of these, I can assure you it’s worth it. And this one is a low-low mileage version that appears to have been really well cared for. This is very much an E46 BMW 330i Sport without all the bullshit.

So, “Prince” then?

This needs a refresh of the stock engine and an EFI conversion.  Do eet.

Sure!  Lots of gearheads do shit that make zero financial sense.  I had an S13 240SX that I put well north of $10k into and I sold it for $5600.  I enjoyed it for many years and wish I still had it, but I needed the cash for a more family friendly car.  Would do it again.  The time when it’s a bad investment is if it
