Was it dimmable before, and if so, does that still work?

Can’t be sure, but isn’t this the vintage of VR6 that was notorious for lunching motors via leaky head gaskets and various iron/aluminum electrolysis issues?

OK.  Well I can’t overcome elitism with logic, so we’ll just leave it be.  I’m sure you’ll find a car you love.

Yes. Scarcity is a key component here. I still don’t understand why Ford cares about the secondary market. And if they really did want to ensure people would drive them, why not just lease them like so many other hypercars?

but doesn’t building *more* of them accomplish that at least to some degree?  i think this is all just a PR stunt.

still not understanding why Ford is doing this.  if there is demand for 5x more cars than you’re building...why not build more and profit?  and if this is what the resale market looks like, why not feed that beast?  this is just so strange.

I think it depends completely on context. If I’m out in the middle of nowhere and I’m not on a schedule, sure...I’ll stop. It might only be to ask if they need me to make a call for them, but I would pause. I think you also have to consider the setup...my wife drove a Wrangler in college (an 1987 model with notorious

By what metric?  I think fanboys in each camp would point to examples where BMW or Toyota were superior.

I clearly can’t have a reasonable conversation with someone that would be so passionate about this subject. That said, do you feel the same way about Porsches with strut suspensions? Do you feel that only double-wishbone cars are true performance cars? What about cars with a multi-link setup? At what point is it OK

But then the internet would be butthurt about a V6 instead of an I6.  There’s no pleasing everyone.  Even if they put a 2JZ in there, a group of people would whine that they’re using old tech...

This is an anecdote.  It does not represent all BMWs.  I would imagine similar anecdotes can be found for nearly all cars.  But I understand that your opinion is that BMWs are wildly less reliable.  OK.  So what if Toyota takes their engineering prowess and improves off of BMW’s basic design?

I suppose that’s fair to say.  Maybe it would be interesting if we knew more about Toyota’s involvement in the engine’s design process?  For instance, did they run some of the testing and actually get seats at the table?

Would you be this upset if they never talked about the collaboration and simply put the BMW engine in the Supra and made sure to carefully remove all BMW logos and stickers?  What is it about the sharing of engineering that has you so upset?  I mean, people put LSs in everything nowadays, and frankly it’s because the

I have the 5.3 in my Suburban and wish I could turn off cylinder deactivation.  It just lugs the engine and is generally useless.  If you have a big truck, just get on board that the MPG will suck.  Oh, and I average 14 mpg in basic driving over the last 6 years....

Exactly my point...no one is actually doing this here yet.  I would absolutely pay Chevy some money to let me have more fun in my Volt...

I want someone to offer an EV that supports modifications.  Like I can buy a less expensive model and when I feel like upgrading things, I can buy more battery pack or a larger motor...things like that.  So far, no one is supporting the enthusiast.  Sure, Tesla is making very fast cars, but they are just like

Does anyone one know the real answer to this question:  If the dealership has something unique like this and says it’s worth $500k, are they able to somehow borrow more money by using this inflated asset as collateral, or is that seen as an obvious scam and therefore not allowed by GAAP?  I am not an accountant and

When will MB stop fitting black wheels with machined lips. All I can think of is “TUNER”.

You asked the question up above...why isn’t this the Celica and the other is the Celica Supra? C’mon.
