Yeah, I understand what you’re saying. I’ve been playing videogames for nearly 25yrs so I’ve seen a lot of changes and I’m not sure if we’ll ever get a Mario 64 or Ocarina of Time moment again. Maybe VR has that potential but it’s still early days.

Didn’t you ever play Mario Galaxy?! That completely reinvented what a 3D platformer can be. And the Mario 2D and 3D games are consistently the best in their categories.
