Cognitive dissonance? Really? You must have been itching to use those words. Look up the word “bias”.

So I guess you don’t share Stephens opinions (http://kotaku.com/the-amiibo-pro…) since “You can’t play a portion (most is a stretch) of the game without purchasing additional figures because that is the business model that was chosen for the game. If one doesn’t like that business model, one can just not buy it.”
OK cool. Thanks for that.
Thanks for that. But men, it looks messy as hell. I wouldn’t even know where to start.
No mention of the WiiU version? Or was that an error?
I think it would be prudent to actually set up an Amiibo trading card forum, where people with repeating cards can just trade up with others. It would make the redundancy of the redundancy of the lottery less annoying and actually fun.
I’ve got a vita and I’ve invested heavily in it. I would say it’s got some very good games but not a lot of great games, with the exception of Persona 4, Danganronpa, Ys and a few others. A lot of the other jrpgs are remixed versions of ps3 titles like hyperdimensional series and Atelier series. The rest are just run…
Unless they have something substantial planned, this will be contender for one of the worst season passes created. Funny thing is that I’ve seen lots of games (Battlefield hard line comes to mind instantly) that had some ridiculously priced “ultimate” versions. But I can bet there are some planks who bought them; and…
No I’m not exactly saying that. What I’m saying is that the people who work on the code are usually employees of the dev company, so they are salaried (unless coding is outsourced). But in games like The Order, Until Dawn etc, actors are hired to do voice work, mocap etc and this could bring up the cost.
Yeah, I’m sure it does but I don’t think that justifies the price cos you could say they put in equal effort making Captain Toad; except they put their effort into the gameplay side of things rather than mocaps, graphics etc. Like I said before, it’s less a videogame and more an interactive movie.
In the case of Nintendo, yeah, they have been pricing their games accordingly recently. But The Order (a glorified tech demo) and Until Dawn ( modern point ‘n’ click) were released at full price. And with the way people rushed out to buy them, I doubt we will see a change. I don’t think any game based site has even…
That’s exactly what I said in another thread. I also think they should come at a reduced price like Captain Toad etc; as those games (captain toad et al) concentrate on gameplay over anything else.
I kinda share his sentiment; although I wouldn’t say that “people who say it’s fun are idiots” because I quite enjoy them myself.
You knowknow what I have noticed recently... Everyone thinks it’s “cool” or “intelligent” to refer to the bible as fiction. People everywhere are jumping on the “bible myth” bandwagon when most of them haven’t a clue what they’re talking about. They quote renown atheists and try it pass it off as their own making; all…
What....the....fuzz?!!! I’ve always wondered if human beings, in all their complexity, can ever be one dimensional. Thank you for answering that question.
I watched a few people play this game via the ps4’s livestream app. And my impression was/is there’s way too much “watching” and not enough “playing”.
“...little actual content...”
What company doesn’t have “big rotten eggs”? And what company doesn’t utilise “ media manipulation “ to it’s advantage? Nobody wants bad press unless there’s something to be gained by it.
A cat doesn’t BELONG in water. A dog doesn’t BELONG on a tree. These are facts that are unchangeable. If konami decide that they could make money on a WiiU port, then they’ll do it. But nothing can change the situation for the cat or dog :)
I think Nintendo have softened up a bit. After all, they funded Bayonetta 2 and that game is very “mature”.
