Kill it with fire. I appreciate Nissan’s enthusiasm for innovation and commitment to racing, but somewhere along the line a whole load of crap got sold to some higher ups and the car will never live up to it. I hope they go for a proper effort, minus a few of the people who got them in this mess in the first place,

I like it, and plus you can roll into every BMW situation and get lectured on why you should have got a 2 year old M3 for the next 5 years. The simple fact that my car buddies would be so mad is reason enough to buy it.

I think Professor Farnsworth was on to something.

It was brutal in the corners, it was holding up GT cars. All it can do is go fast in a straight line, and unfortunately, so can every P1.

Sorry was being cheeky and fun rather than cruel and tragic. They have no chance, P1’s and pretty much everybody else has to run flat out the whole race as Yuji mentioned, there’s no conserving equipment at all. So they are going to get destroyed pretty bad.

I would imagine it is difficult for you to contain the rainbows emanating from your rear end due to your beautiful optimism, however, the stupid Nissans are going get waxed badly before they all retire at the 6 hour mark.

Have to agree, I’ve driven a manual for the last 8 years and I had to drive through Atlanta traffic on my way to Talladega. My left leg was shaking and the ball of my foot was on fire...I kept thinking it would be awesome if there was an automatic way to change gears that had been invented.

Carmen Jorda is a paycheck to Lotus. She is a complete joke as a driver.

I agree, I can’t recall a team that has never turned a wheel making bold claim on bold claim about how great they are going to be. Let’s review:

As intriguing as that be, GM would need to multiply the Vette budget by 10 to run P1 against the current goon squad. The P&M effort is something on the order of $30-40 million if I recall correctly, and you get to win all the time. LMP1 is $200-300 million and you get to have your ass handed to you by two German

Stef, you can bash my circle track livelihood all day but this is a bridge too far!

The Taurus is a pig, there is a no doubt.

Hey you got Monaco grid boys this weekend, we’re even. ;)

T1 and T3 have the highest entry speed so it’s logical that would be the problem area, not that they lose much speed at all. The problem is you have to push for the best L/D, so running as little downforce as you can stand with the wings. Naturally there is a limit to this exercise.

You should see them haul ass through a mall parking lot though, it’s impressive.

I can tell you that the people standing along the wall were not too concerned with the logo when we were diving away from whatever was coming down the pitlane.

I’m not sure how I feel that I worked pit road yesterday and didn’t notice this car was SpongeBob, for whatever reason I just assumed it was a RainX paint scheme because of the colors and didn’t look at it again. Thank you for improving my race day awareness Stef.

Cool, shoot me a message if you need a credential. We’ll make a circle track fan out of you yet!

Stef, I am very close to NASCAR professionally (all up in that) and am sometimes irked that you pick on the series, though we deserve it...but I won’t defend the way the broadcasters handle the sport, I believe it’s insulting to real motorsports fans in general and panders to the lowest common denominator. You got a rain tire that can take 4,500 lbf on the right front and last more than a lap?
