Yeah we run them at most places to be honest except road courses, even Bristol we run them. It’s dumb though, if the car blows a tire it’s on the splitter and can’t turn. Working on getting rid of them with tire pressure monitoring.

Inner liners are run at intermediates as well.

NASCAR actually does a lot with the LGBT community, there's a group called Queers for Gears that is exactly what it sounds like, but they visited the track this year and were well received and had a good time. There are also a fair number of crew members who are gay and well accepted in the garage. It's much more

Correct, not currently allowed but it's being investigated pretty seriously for next year along with tire pressure monitoring. As mentioned, a big thing is the system needs to transfer quickly between sets for tracks like Atlanta where you're using 12 sets.

I'd agree occasionally there are questionable calls, but you'd be surprised how often a mistake will get corrected during the race. A lot of times it doesn't involve front runners, but it is constantly happening. We do bend the rules a bit when something unfair has happened...a prime example would be last year a jet

I just had the valves cleaned on my Mk 6 GTI at 100K miles, and I can tell you the dealership literally used rocket fuel and serious scraping to get everything cleaned off. There is no way dribbling SeaFoam into the manifold will do anything other than give you a misfire code, the stuff is cooked on there.

It's a delicate balance, they/we are trying to use warnings and lighter infractions early in the season to get people to stop messing with the cars so that it isn't a free for all during the Chase. Ultimately pulling the fender out is worth downforce but it's not a crazy/dangerous thing to do, unlike when they mess

Losing ballast is an automatic P3, it's in the rules and everyone knows it. Totally for safety reasons.
