@John H. Meyer: So? Apple has been behind the rest for years with regards to features, and it has still been very successful because of marketing, hype, user experience, and all the rest. Proof that phones don't need the best or latest features. iOS is STILL behind other phones in terms of features, yet it still sells

@RemembertheAmiga: OK, but my point is more that I can now get a few megabits per second on my phone internet.

@GitEm$teveDave: Yeah, that's pretty much all I see in this thread too. Toxic citing word of mouth, fantasy studies, and talking about BSE (hello, we're talking about chicken here, cows are treated very differently).

@toxic: Actually yes, I have taken a science course beyond high school. I have two degrees in science subjects in fact, in which I attained the highest possible grades. Point being, don't be arrogant and assume you're the smartest person on the internet just because you don't agree with someone's opinion, and have

@toxic: If a "scrap" as you say, or a "disgusting" and "worst part" of a chicken provides sustinance just the same as the bits of chicken that you personally like, then why is it unfit for eating?

@gemcosta: Does it actually work? I've heard that switching between 4G/3G/Edge etc actually consumes a not-insubstantial amount of power, and that these apps can cause more drain than they save.

@RemembertheAmiga: Err, I don't think you do understand what @RecipeForHate is saying. Your Fascinate has a vertical resolution of 480 pixels in landscape.. This is standard definition. HD content *will not* look any better than SD content on your SD phone. Do you see? You can't put a square peg in a round hole.

@ZFK: I felt like mobile internet was a bit better in the UK, if only because there's less area to cover. Anyone got any idea?

@interrogator_chaplain: Macs aren't better for design, it's just that the design demographic like Macs, for some reason.

@MacAttack: Well, no Android is still pretty open. This is what, two handsets now out of about a million that are restricting the device?

@m1ndtr1p: Ah. We're blessed with choice in the UK, everything seems to be available everywhere, and all fairly cheap too.

@m1ndtr1p: I personally think 3.7 is the perfect size, I find the iPhone's screen just a little small.

@liftedngifted1: Crappy? They were some of the best phones in their day

@Tetsuooooooo: You do need to provide proof, repeatedly saying words doesn't make something true. Your link is pointless. Googling the term "vista xp downgrade" (360k results) doesn't mean anything. I can Google "windows 7 failure" and get 18 million results.

@Dr-Rockso: I don't think it is garbage. It's a matter of perspective.

@Tetsuooooooo: What are you talking about? Who else but Microsoft to release Microsoft's sales figures? Are you saying that they fabricated their figures?

@Tetsuooooooo: Wrong! We have probably about 60% Vista, 30% W7 and 10% XP machines at our business.

@senshikaze: Because, whilst you don't like Microsoft, the majority of the world wants to continue using Windows and Office, and the vast majority of their software is very comprehensive and powerful.

@Tetsuooooooo: I'm fairly sure Vista was also Microsoft's most successful OS until W7, and sold plenty. It had this weird kind of 'flop' reputation, despite not being reviewed as a flop, and selling well. I'm still amazed at how criticism of that particular product has turned into this crazy notion that it was
