Auto insurance guy here. Turo should not and would not be involved in the valuation process outside of possibly verifying the value. The adjuster will assess the car “conservatively” and will view the terms of the policy to see if coverage is in place.

I would NOT recommend this in a manual car. At least, not MY car. With no synchro for reverse, my car makes an absolutely atrocious sound if you are moving forward at all and shift into reverse.

Like I said, I don’t think he was aware of Lundqvist’s position at all. He definitely came in too hot and had no where to go. Why he didn’t try to stop or turn away, I don’t know.
