Im gonna call it now: Fake.

Looks pretty accurate to me!

Anyone that lives in a decent size city and orders Papa John’s, Domino’s, etc. over independent joints deserve what they get. Most cities have a decent pizza place, no one should ever have to subject themselves to this shit...

Because this is Foxtrot Alpha, not original Jalopnik.

*only if you have a New 3DS, in the case of A Link to the Past

Yup. I used to work in the insurance industry myself, and most of this story is standard fare. The back and forth is normal while the adjuster does their...adjusting. It sounds like the owner was hoping for a large payout so they could wash their loan. People placing too much monetary value on their property is

Auto insurance guy here. Turo should not and would not be involved in the valuation process outside of possibly verifying the value. The adjuster will assess the car “conservatively” and will view the terms of the policy to see if coverage is in place.

At this point, I think some of the smaller youtube outfits are much more interesting than TG. Even a certain someone with a carmax warranty who we won’t name. TG is just a pompous pageant, in which I’m learning nothing. I’d rather watch Torchinsky fall through the rotting wood frame of a hand-made Romanian car in

Remove a driveshaft? ;)

Wouldn’t the inability to get the car to run the same speed as the restof of the traffic be dangerous in and of itself?

Like I said, I don’t think he was aware of Lundqvist’s position at all. He definitely came in too hot and had no where to go. Why he didn’t try to stop or turn away, I don’t know. But he’s not the type of player to haul off and land a cheap shot on a guy. He totally deserved the gate and any suspension that follows.

I’ve said it once, I’ve probably said it a thousand times... As long as drivers’ education programs aren’t standardized and as long as people don’t ever have to retest, drivers are going to be utterly horrid as a default state. Nobody learns properly to begin with, and even when people get told what to do they don’t

It did seem a little odd that he didn’t at least have the sense to jump out of his car and furiously sweep the path with his curling broom.
