Friend. Your instructors are not good at it.
Did they go over some BS about having to balance the gas with the clutch and all that? Yeah... that’s the end game, but until you understand the relationship... it’s meaningless.

My advice. Get manual car. Sit in lot. Place your right foot firmly on the floor away from pedal.

Literally EVERY superhero movie that comes out everyone is just like zOMG THIS IS AMAZING and then 2 months later when it isn’t “mandatory cool” to like it, people start talking about how shit they are.

Literally ALL of turbobricks thinks of the 240/740/940 as going sideways and fast. All of our 2/7/9's in fact DO go sideways and ARE fast (at least on the way to the crushers)

I started this the other night. The thing that made me IMMEDIATELY turn it off was the constant uttering of the built not bought and the arguments that went along with it. Not because I have an opinion on that specifically (I have a nice built car and a nice bought car rn) but because I’m so GD sick of car shows that

I replied to another thread but in this situation she’s wearing a pressure demand oxygen mask and it’s extremely (read: EXTREMELY) difficult to speak while wearing one.

Not to imply she wasn’t chill... she was, but also the odd cadence of their speech while above 10,000 is due to wearing pressure demand O2 masks. (The ones the pilots wear are different than the ones you scrubs in the back get). You have to physically force your speech (think like... trying to speak or breathe with

As a former pilot, the Sully thing is different because it’s a pretty difficult landing. Losing both engines at low altitude and having to pull off a water landing while any pilot should be able to do, I might say the number of variables could certainly get in the way.

Losing an engine is “routine” I would say. Nearly

It isn’t that these “classics” should be brought back. The Supra should’ve been allowed to live on in infamy... but now it’s brought back and it’s a completely different car. The names should be meaningless to some extent, but what we need are the slots they filled.

But you’re implying that he was an awful President because you disagree with his politics, not that he was incapable of the job? Regardless, I’m not intending to get into a who was better or worse argument, I’m merely trying to draw the line for political strategy to find out how we got here... if that makes sense?

I don’t think I’d disagree with this, but whether he was or wasn’t might be irrespective of the perception? The benefit regardless of Obama or Sanders or even Bush was simply that regardless of whether you agree with their politics, at least they approached it as politicians whereas Trump is only here for ratings.

Rhett. I believe it’s pronounced “The Facebook”

I’ve been saying this since Obama took office and you should note... TRUMP is not the person who created this divide (although eff that guy, but I digress). From a political strategy standpoint, Trump is the nuclear option to Obama. Obama was the nuclear option to Bush 2. Bush 2 wasn’t an awful President... you may

Tell me how! Where do you find your events? See the comment I made on another response to this comment thread! Teach me!

Where do you find them? Everytime I look at VIR events it’s always like PCA or BMWCA or something and it’s like a whole weekend. While I think the miles per dollar is quite equitable, it’s challenging to invest a 4 figure sum of money for that.

Something I think is worth discussion is how (based on what I see on the web anyhow) I can go to a track day in any country other than the US for $100 including fuel. Whereas in the US it seems that it’s almost always a $500 minimum. I’m posing this as more of a question than as gospel and would welcome feedback or

Agreed, but Eichel isn’t a leader imo. In fact, I think one of the issues in Buf is that they’re lacking a CLEAR leader. I wish they would’ve acquired Jagr. Bringing someone like that in to sit Eichel down and tell him how it’s going to be would’ve paid dividends. Instead, they’re content with letting him hamfist his
