@angstman: I've been a USAA member for more than a decade. I love the bank. Best customer service I've ever experienced. Just can't use most of their products while an Expat in Russia :(

@lonniebear: the iPhone app won't likely have been the first mobile banking app for phones. Raiffeisenbank has a java-based app for older phones that I can only assume has been around for a very long time, for example. So I doubt there's a broad enough patent claim there that could apply. Though nothing would

@MistaWondaBread: I'm glad to hear they're helping make your life easier, brother. Thank you for your service.

@im2fools: They opened one in Killeen? Figures.

@im2fools: Not sure VPN or proxy servers would work for this, unlike some online music services, etc. I believe the problem is that USAA knows I'm in Russia due to my acct/membership info.

@s7arbuck: aren't you the clever one.

USAA, last I knew, is only for people with some sort of military/gov't affiliation - servicemembers, veterans, retirees, and family. Though they may have branched out since I became a member. Outstanding bank. Best customer service I have ever experienced, and you can do everything remotely - they don't have branch

I'm speechless.

Just updated manually, can't be asked to wait for OTA :]

@zachff: Looks remarkably like a porpoise from the front. Wonder if they did that on purpose .

These images should be cleared even if stored on the SD card.

@naturewill: You can just switch off sense in the settings, unless I'm mistaken. But the fact it's there still slows down the pace at which phones that are issued with it receive upgrades.

@DanielJ: I do Skype. But my notebook isn't always with me when someone's online. With a front facing camera (and a Skype app, now, since fring just got ad-supported) it would be that much easier.

@Brian Mantel: Yeah, my Nexus One seems small after manhandling my friend's HD2. But I'm more than happy to wait for Google to release a bigger Nexus...

Why can't manufacturers release great phones without messing up the UI. I'll stick with a full-on "Google phone" simply to get the newest Android features first. After 2.5 years on a jailbroken iPhone, I'm tired of waiting for a middleman to get involved before I can update my firmware.

Not sure if you've seen this, but the Beautiful Live Weather live wallpaper from the Android Market combined with the Beautiful Home widget included in Beautiful Widgets has just boosted the awesomeness of my homescreen by a factor of ridiculous. I'm using it on my Nexus One running Android 2.2 Froyo.
