Vaping has helped me quit cigarettes, I was up to 2 packs a day. And frankly I don’t care how I look vaping, I’m not looking for other people’s opinion. So, you sir, are the douchebag for judging what others “look like” when it doesn’t affect you.

Don’t listen to the white bread responding to you, man. If someone is going to judge you for wanting to be comfortable on an airplane then that isn’t the sort of person I would want anything from (and is probably a douche-bro).
I have never once looked at a casually-dressed (or even shabbily dressed) person and thought “that person is really being inconsiderate to me.” I can’t imagine the mindset that would.
This !! I am 45 now and quite frankly I don’t care what people think of what I’m wearing ... Or what I listen to ... And so on . I gave up all that shit after high school .. all that matters is that I am comfortable
I don’t think dressing nicely correlates to being considerate, even though both fall into the broad category of “caring what other people think”. In fact, I think the opposite argument can be made. Caring a lot about superficial appearance for it’s own sake primes a mindset where you feel comfortable making all kinds…
Or just stop caring what random people think of you, especially since you likely won’t ever talk to/see them again.
