Yeah, you’re right. I hadn’t thought of it that way, but I seem to remember Brian Wilson listing one of his own songs as one of his favorite 5 or 10 songs.

Dumbo. With the best teacher line ever: The very things that held you down are gonna lift you up and up and up!
I had 2nd row center seats to see Lou Reed on his Coney Island Baby tour. When Lou came on, the front row filled with Detroit radio nabobs and their dates, and the fuckers would not shut up. During the then-unreleased song, Cheap Uptown Dirt, Lou walked to the end of the stage bent over and spit on ‘em.
Thanks for remembering Dreamboat Annie! You got me to comment on this format with that pick.
Absolutely! The biggest shock in that movie was when James Brolin gets killed leaving Richard Benjamin to fight the robot warrior. Brolin was pretty hot at that time, due to his role on Marcus Welby. He was supposed to be the star...
I worked “at the show” when Westworld came out (we handed out little air pop guns to audience members) and saw it about 30 times. It was not a good film; however, Yul Brynner had charisma and then some, since he looked just like his Chris character in Magnificent Seven which most kids in my neighborhood knew by heart.
