No, they’re obsessing over the wording. “Family man” and “A-list” are terms that, to my knowledge, are used in gossip/tabloid ways very differently than in regular usage.

Feldman has known for years who it was. The fact he hasn’t told the cops who it was or who the people who abused him where, should tell you this is not prosecutable and would be libelous. Nobody’s going to name anybody without solid proof they can show that would get them out of a libel suit.

Downey Jr. was not A-list in 1983/84. Not even a little bit close to it. He was still considered a young actor who’s fame wasn’t even parallel to Sheen’s at the time.

Sutherland hasn’t been A-list since the early 70s, though. He wasn’t even A-list in the 80s.

But he’s not known for anything but left-y causes. His alkie days ended long ago and he’s had not a trace of scandal since. His other sons are scandal free except for Charlie. The outlier can’t necessarily lead back to Martin as the problem.
