A properly geared race kart could speed in the left lane.

1) Crappy go cart. A race cart can more than keep up with slow lane traffic.

I had to use my sister’s K-Car wagon to make a couple of trips to college in northeast PA. There are big, long hills on I-80 where I had the gas pedal pinned and couldn’t go faster than 50.  Those meth-head imbeciles would roar right up my ass, bright me, blast the air horn.  I’m in the right lane with hazards on,

I’d say his failure to check the mirror and notice the Honda stuck there for so long leans towards this being his fault, as in checking mirrors regularly seems to be of little importance to him.

Counterpoint: I would probably think twice, wondering if the driver would bother slowing down, about getting in front of a truck that’s already dragging a car under it.

I can say that you can feel an 1800lb horse move in a semi pulling horses, and (in different rig) you can feel hanging sides of beef move in the trailer. (Though in the latter case it can be a significant part of the load.)

And then we learn that a semitrailer can drag TWO passenger cars at highway speeds!

If the truck driver isn't going to stop for a car stuck under his trailer, is he going to stop for someone trying to warn him about a car stuck under his trailer?

That was an awfully long time for that truck driver to not check his right mirror at all. Or to not notice the significant extra drag he just picked up on his rig.

It's basically taking all those rediculous fake fender vents and reimagining them as turn signal markers. I love it

Everyone knows LaFerrari is the worst. Everyone.

He was not a happy camper

Most vans are ‘proof of sex’ vans with the booster seats and crushed Goldfish crackers on the floor.

Not sure about Cali, but almost certainly. Most states have either a speed cap of 30mph or and engine size cap of 50cc or some combination of them that this would exceed

You absolutely have to have an M1 endorsement to ride in CA. You need an M2 to ride a moped/ bicycle with a motor.

I see what you did there...and I like it. Just like a good cub reporter.

Same. I almost bought a Model 3. If I had been in need of a car just a month or two later, I’d probably have one, but at the time they were waitlisted for what seemed like forever.

Exactly. Teslas are... fine, they’re just fine as cars. I find the assisted cruise control on my Pacifica minivan to be a more comfortable, relaxing driving experience than Autopilot. (Autopilot was stressful in comparison.) But I could overlook that for an affordable EV that sits 7... if the CEO wasn’t such a loud,

Because ironic, man.
