To be honestly, your first post was quite dismissive of the fanbase of the game. Think of it this way: for example, if someone who didn't own a dog wondered why in the world anyone would want one, and insulted you for having one, how would you feel? Then how do YOU think a family should be structured? The fact is, the dad wasn't around, forcing the mom to work multiple jobs, thus leading to the neglect of the daughter. No mom would purposely WANT to be a single mom and do this. Unless the dad has passed away, he is indirectly responsible for his daughter's plight.
