Apparently there is no mileage limit to the drive unit warranty. Don’t know for how long, though, or if it transfers. Even if tesla is still around in a few years, I doubt they want to be eternally replacing motors on the cars they do manage to produce.

As are they most places that have inspections.

On my last car, one required replacement in 190k miles; on my current one, none in 160k miles.

There also might be just a LITTLE bit of exaggeration there - especially the front pads!! The rears I could believe....

Good luck with that. If/when these are eventually approved for public roads, they will require a licensed driver aboard for a long time after that.

“... there was a lens staring directly back at me... I started trembling. Even now I get emotional talking about it...”

I wonder when pistons WEREN’T “fancy alloy stuff”....

He’s just recently been in school, studying useful stuff....

If you’re reading this column, you should have learned “something” about cars by now....

No, they didn’t. They had clueless drivers pressing on the gas instead of the brake, and who didn’t understand that that gearshift goes into “N” and that key or button switches to “off.”

I don’t think one “settles” a criminal case.

It’s true. /no sarcasm

Source proving he’s wrong?

....but they MEANT well!!

With 12v DC?

More likely have it inside, running, with all the windows up....

And how many thousands extra did you spend for that ridiculously tiny car?

....because you own (or lease) one....

Yes - it’s “OK,” because he “meant well.”

Ah, sooooo.....
