Like in UK and Australia...

Exactly - amazing that there’s a real world out there, isn’t it?

Was it a rifle, or a shotgun?

they left out a very significant activity she carried out in the back seat of that Subaru....

And they’re apparently paying above union wages already...

It would be fun watching that egotist’s head explode - at least for a while, until he moved - trying to deal with unions....

Umm...yes - it’s always that clean and above board, Pollyanna.....

Yes, they have a choice - vote to approve the union, or get their legs broken and their cars destroyed....

Yes.

That’s the first time I’ve heard a sales tax referred to as a “Doc fee!”

Whew!! The price for living in “paradise!” They have you more over a barrel there than on the mainland, for sure! Good luck shopping.

That’s personal property tax. They also charge sales tax when buying a car new or used. I presume any state with sales tax does more or less the same thing.

This is what everybody should do. Don’t fall in love with the car - walk and go somewhere else.

What about other things like holdback? And God knows what else that I’ve never heard of, since I’ve never been involved in the car business, although I’ve certainly known a few who have been dealership owners, right in the middle of it....

But that is lying and is illegal.

No, he’s not right - he’s lying. Because he agreed to the price ahead of time, then added that fee after the guy had driven for hours, hoping to stick it to him. And what you are talking about are dealer rules, because your dealership apparently got caught redlining.

That was pretty funny - “...the courier stands in line for hours...” LOL!!
