My ‘88 spec’s DOT 5; I presume they still do.

...and his derogatory comments about hipsters?

Should he have said “Jap?”

Er...(you sure like saying that, don’t you?) yes, you are. The ABS is pulsing the pressure (or should be) right as the tire starts to skid. You should even be hearing a little bit of tire noise as the ABS pulses.

Very true! My CBX, for example, is very lackadaisical compared to the ‘Busa.....

Can you see in front of you? Can’t you anticipate anything?

And it does, just not three times in quick succession.....

Yes, to both of you. And it sounds like you pay a little more attention to what’s going on in front of you.....

Yes - and I know what a transmission is for.....

Er, yes, “you” are - the ABS is (or should be) pulsing the line pressure right at the point of skid. You should actually hear a little bit of skidding, ‘cause a brake is exerting the most force right at the point of skid.

My Harley has been extremely reliable, and it’s 28 years old, now.....

That is definitely the low-price spread.....

I was going by the article’s claim that it costs $17k. That is gone now......

that plane sure will......

lol!! So true!!

Any brake should be able to fully lock a wheel....on anything. If it’s not able, it has a problem.

Does that mean the person who told you that is right? I almost never use just the rear brake on mine. I must say I do use it a lot in traffic on my ‘Busa, but both brakes get used.

Nope - Sportsters are much cheaper (most of them, anyway....)

They are - but they are NOT high-performance!!

What kind of riding do YOU do that you would have three panic-braking situations within a few minutes?!?!?!
