I’ve never bought a new car, but I can’t imagine I would be able to get the 0% loan after I had bargained down the car as far as I possibly could.....I imagine there’s some “minimum” price below which that 0% offer is no longer in effect. Is that “minimum price” also known as “MSRP?”

That’s hardly the same as stopping payment completely. Many people have hard times occasionally. It’s how they handle it that matters.

People who have “nothing” don’t buy cars. And, they have plenty - they just “don’t want to” pay the car loan - they’d rather have a new “smart”phone, or new TV, or fancy new wheels for said car, etc........
