They are also very skinny. The idea behind them is they are narrow for better rolling resistance and aerodynamics and having a really big diameter still allows them to have a good sized contact patch. BMW really tried a lot of interesting ideas out on the i3, too bad it was a dead end due to the price and management.

I agree with Tom! Same combo of vehicles I have.

It used to be such a cool show to go to back in the day. Huge, elaborate displays, the cool concept cars, brochures and other give a ways, and even live entertainment and shows. It’s really become a shell of its old self because everyone learned doing individual launch and press events was easier and cheaper and means

Wasn’t it originally sold as “it will be cheaper because we will use the same stainless steel as Starship so it will save money?” Though it doesn’t seem like that’s mentioned at all on the webpage for it, so who freaking knows.

They Road Runner Super Bird...classic.

I’ve seen all of Age Wheels’ videos on his Codas, no way in hell I would take the chance on one of those things for $4k.

I am failing to see why this thing is worth more than double the KBB estimated value.

I cannot wait to see how poorly these stupid wipers do in ice and snow in the winter. I smell a second recall coming when even the improved motor starts failing against an even higher load.

There is lots of chrome plating, just not the bright shiny stuff. Any steel parts that aren’t painted black are likely to have Zinc and Trivalent Chrome plating.

I really love when BMW does weird stuff...I own an i3 and I think this would go great with it...but yeah...the $8k price tag is just way too much for what it is.

Not surprising...Lotta IndyCar people still long for the days of front engine cars, left turns only, dirt tracks, and only good olde boy ‘Merican drivers.

It helps you weed all the chaff from the true Hard Core engineers.

I agree. I would rather just be able to say I want warm or cold air blasting when I want it, not rely on what the temp sensor things. It always seems to be worse in cold temps than warm for me.

First Gen Viper...no exterior door handles at all.
