yeah. last time something about her was posted and i said the same thing, and someone kind of called me out by saying ‘well cant a woman be bad ass and still have a shitty husband?’ and they were right. so i’ve tried to separate that part from why i dont like her and ive realized i just dont find her very witty, smart

There’s something depressing to me about a woman, who advocates being free and open and honest, then goes home and is just fine with being told to shut up (in front of her co-workers no less) by her husband. I mean it must be working for them but I found it sad to watch.

And that Mara Wilson was the server! Loved it.

haha yes, exactly! i love that they style them pretty ‘real’ on the show (like abbi and that blue dress- she paid a lot for it she’s going to wear it a lot!!!) but they are both so striking when styled for promo

Loved it! Especially because of the obvious references to mrs. Doubtfire. I felt bad for trey :-/.

I was kinda disappointed with the first few episodes of this season but it has totally redeemed itself. The episode where Ilana’s parents are celebrating their anniversary was actually super heartwarming and sweet.

Out of all the movies she stars in...Spy is the one they won’t see!? She actually is very versatile in Spy. Yes she does the aggressive and loud style of comedy, but she also is just as funny when she plays it meek and longing for Jude Law.

I’ve made that criticism myself a couple times, but it had more to do with me thinking she’s better than the material she’s getting. Like Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell have never done anything for me so they can go on making stupid movies I don’t care about. Bc clearly I’m the center of the universe.

Also, on July 12th be sure to pick up my tell all Bears: A Serial Listener Who Remembers, Like, a good 60% of what happened but only about 25% of the Names Involved but still makes “There’s a Shrimp Sale at the Crab Crib” Jokes.

Exactly, its always funny how people expect their friends and family to come to their weddings and have fun, yet when it comes to their friends weddings, it’s a “chore”.

One word; Boomers.

But you know what comes after funerals? Gay funerals.

And baby showers, which are one million times worse than weddings.

You sound both pretentious and bitter.

Yeah, you’re 33 now, we get it.

Open-carry pastry. Don’t mess with.

To be honest, I’m not even sure who hates Lily the character and who hates the acting chops of Aubrey. I’ve seen both snark about her lines and snark about how she delivers them. Odd that you would pick my response out of all others to chide me for not distinguishing, particularly since I hashtagged teamlily, not

We have to disagree. Lilly is the best character on the show. She has maybe two or three lines each episode, but they are the razor lines.*

Shit! I was just scrolling down to post finally a thread that appreciates Lily. She’s not ready to play Macbeth at The Globe, but they give her great lines and her eyerolls are consistently amusing.

Im a watcher only because my husband does, but she is my favorite part.
