Don't get distracted by tech nonsense — set up a blog at wordpress.com or something similarly hands-off and focus as much time and effort as you can to producing quality content.

1) Wordpress set up with multiple authors

If you can get your hands on a Flip, that's your best bet. Dead simple, sturdy, records great video.

If you are on a Mac, you can set up your address book to sync with both. Open address book preferences.

Figure out an hourly rate based on what your time is worth to you (and NOT what you think your rate as a non-degree-bearing-designer should be), then figure out how long it will take to design those 5 pages. Voila!

Yes it does. It won't work for those of us with laptops that we carry with us all the time. I tend to leave my laptop at home, powered on and connected to the internet 99% of the time. I bet many people buy laptops so they have the option of portability, but rarely take them out of the house.
