The chip load from L to R is correct — I have taken a photo at the same time as someone with a camera whose flash fired, and there is a vertical band in the middle of the photograph where everything is brighter as a result of the flash. Pretty neat visualization of time, when you think about it.

Jailbroke my 3G, i'll never do it again. None of this is worth it, really, except the My-Wi hotspot thing, and that's not compelling enough for me to jump through hoops every time I want to update the OS.

@agentshmalan: I used to do this all the time, but now they print "PRIORITY MAIL" all over the inside, too.

I wish they'd integrate with Remember The Milk so I could dictate tasks.

if i really have to buckle down and get work done with a deadline, i put on classical music.

I used to buy Applecare for all my Apple products without thinking twice, but I've come to realize that American Express doubles the warranty of anything you buy up to a year, so you can get the 2nd year of warranty for free. This won't cover the third year, though.

It makes no sense to spend a fortune on a casket. Jewish law caskets are required to be as simple as possible:

@theamazingpete: If AT&T agreed with you, I think they'd allow tethering without charge. The fact that they want $20 for the right to use the 2GB of data you paid for on more than one device indicates otherwise.

With a clip on the back, it would be pretty sweet. The third-party-case market would go bananas: "it's a watch! ring! lapel! necklace!"

Would throwing the "read-only" switch on a USB drive [that has one] afford protection here? Or is the protection afforded something that a virus could work around?

I've got a 3.5 lb chicken, split in half, sitting in my fridge and it's already got a nice BBQ dry rub on it. I'll be tossing it on the grill after work.

LiveStrong bracelets 10 for $10

I just watched an ad about an ad.

"Most importantly..."

Missed the deadline, but here's what I wanted to enter :)

@sk123: I got the % indicator when I jailbroke my 3G a few months ago with SB settings. Before iOS4 came out, I re-jailed my 3G so I could upgrade to the iOS4 golden master.. and the % indicator persisted somehow. Then later, I got my iPhone 4, and did a "restore from backup", and the % indicator persisted yet

Seems to me like the paint would crack and fall off the metal cans in a matter of weeks, what with the metal expanding and contracting every day and night non-stop... the obvious solution? Drink more guinness!

Wow, yes — speedtest shows 2009 kbps downstream, 1530kbps upstream!

@franco1975 [Troll ]: Good luck with that one :), I have a feeling this is going to be one of the first go to. You'll be sitting on a gold mine if you manage to pull it off!
