That’d be fine? Theater seems like one of the last areas where there’d be a need for gender segregation.

One of the things that insulates women’s spaces from men is the fear of femininity. A dude doesn’t want to join a sorority or a women’s soccer team, because it would make him appear feminine and therefore less powerful. Women want to join the men’s acting troupe because it possesses power and wealth.

Jesus christ, has nobody ever seen a woman in drag? Is that really such a foreign concept? Or is the contention that women simply can’t entertain in drag? Because the average drag king killing it out there could wipe the floor with HP’s male performers.

Except there’s no women’s equivalent to the Hasty Pudding, especially in terms of its reach and networking opportunities.

Okay, but realistically, there’s nothing at Harvard that’s remotely like the Hasty Pudding for women. It’s literally launched people’s careers. It’s powerful and wealthy and it is on some prime real estate.

They should have the men play the women and the women play them men, rather than having the men play both roles.

That’s not a trifling observation.

These women sure sound like they’re acting with excessive speed or insufficient consideration about this particular kind of dessert.
