You make good points. In the last 6 months we binge watched Mad Men and Buffy from the very start as newbies, and part of the pleasure of that binge was reading over the AVClub’s reviews, which are over a decade old in some cases.

I really wish we could’ve kept the old format until after the Game of Thrones finale reviews. I rarely participated in the review comments (there were so many of them), but I certainly read as many as I could before my computer puked. It’ll be interesting to see how Kinja holds up.
