Wow, they're really going out of their way to avoid working with Jared Leto.

Given how heavily reliant the later seasons are on action cliches, it does look like they're heading for an Independence Day / Avengers ending where Jon battles the Night's King one-on-one and when he wins, the whole army collapses. I hope they do something more creative than that, but then I hoped the Battle of the

That also seems to explain why Jeffries' hotel in the Convenience Store dimension looks like the hotel where Leland scheduled a foursome with Teresa Banks and his daughter. I like the idea that reality reflects the other dimensions, although really they've been toying with this ever since we first saw the red

I haven't seen anyone mention this, but Lynch explained the apparent contradiction between Mike saying "we lived above a convenience store" and the Convenience Store having only one floor. The staircase to the roof is the portal! I just love that detail.

I don't think Trump has ever described anything dark as righteous.

I took the flashback scene between Cooper and Jeffries from FWWM as confirmation the Coopleganger knows everything Good Coop knew before entering the Lodge.

So where are they going with this subplot around how Dany is concerned with whether or not Jon was literally stabbed in the heart? Is it because she's a little grossed out by the prospect of having sex with an undead person?

The problem isn't necessarily Jon's poor decision making, but rather his political inability to sell unpopular (yet morally right) ideas to the people he seeks to lead.

Reports are saying he's headed back to Breitbart. I can't imagine it's going to become an anti-Trump rag now, although those commenters are absolutely freaking out and crying alt-right tears, so I can be happy for this one day.

    (a) Republicans were keeping the Senate in session during recesses by having one person at a time stay in town and bang the gavel for a few minutes each day, so that it was impossible for Obama to make recess appointments.

    Missandei!

It's also weird that the two episodes that have leaked contain the craziest CGI action sequences of the season.

The 90s were pretty good. New episodes of peak Simpsons every week, lots of good middle-class jobs, and very few neo-Nazi rallies. The 90s sucked if you were an LGBT person, and in many ways that society wasn't working for everyone, but overall that was the best decade with a reasonable balance between a good economy

Yes, that too! We see quite a bit of the Teresa Banks storyline between FWWM and the Missing Pieces and it seems like it's almost all Leland. He's not in Bob form when he picks Teresa out of Flesh World magazine saying "you look just like my Laura" and it's not Bob who arranges a foursome with Teresa's underage

The line I keep coming back to is Leland saying "I always thought you knew it was me" while he's murdering Laura, which implies that he remembers all of "Bob's" actions — notably, he did nothing to prevent himself from drugging his wife to rape his own daughter.

I think a fake Rolex is well within character. Much moreso than Andy being a dirty cop.

I thought the same thing when they all marched out of the wall. No redshirts, so someone has to die next episode! And then a second group of redshirt wildlings followed them out the gates.

Jorah keeps imagining that he's the nice guy in a love triangle involving Dany and various bad boys, but I don't think she's ever once considered banging him.

Yes. This is the kind of evil plan that only works in TV shows. It's very easy for a screenwriter to make sure the character being played shows up at exactly the right time to overhear something. In real life evil plans, you wind up repeating the suspicous conversation over and over until the mark finally drops by.

He seems to put a lot of thought into which part of a room has the least light, so that he can lurk there.
