There is literally as much evidence that Isringhause’s hypocritical disdain for Smith is motivated by racism is there is for supposition that it is motivated by the fact that he doesn’t like JR Smith’s shoes, or that he has a visceral hatred for the number 5, or that he heard that JR Smith may have secretly thought…
I did recognize that possibility. As I said in my original post, every time a white person says something about a black person, it’s obviously because of racism. No matter what. Always.
Awesome point about the article not calling him a racist — good thing I wasn’t responding to that, but to the post that literally called it “tweeting thinly-veiled racism”! Thanks for your stellar contribution!
That proves he’s a hypocrite. Care to show how that makes him a racist?
DURR EVERY TIME A WHITE PERSON SAYS SOMETHING NEGATIVE ABOUT A BLACK PERSON FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER IT IS CAPITAL R RAY-CISS-UM, EVEN WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE TO SUBSTANTIATE IT. DOG WHISTLE DOG WHISTLE DOG WHISTLE THATS WHAT I SAY WHEN I WANT TO MAKE UNGROUNDED ACCUSATIONS OF RACISM BECAUSE I ENJOY WRITING FAN FICTION

I know you always think this is some mic-drop thing when you post these, but it’s really not. You can be in favor of gun lax laws and still be anti-massacre. It’s not hypocritical or inconsistent in the least.
OK, I wasn’t arguing that point. I was just pointing out that, in many instances, it is literally not rape in the legal sense. So you can’t just scream “it’s rape it’s always rape,” because context matters.

Um, maybe the fact that Lampley literally said “only one” athlete would give up years of their competitive and money-making primes for a sociopolitical cause, when all three of those names mentioned also gave up years of their competitive and money-making primes for a sociopolitical cause?
everything is racist
God, if only you guys were 1/10 as funny as you think you are...
Can you imagine the outrage orgy that you and the rest of Gawker would have if some site posted an article making fun of NBA prospects’ names?
