Yeah that RC plane rescue vid was seriously cool. Reposting here so others can check it out. I fly a T-28 model airplane that is very similar to the one rescued. Big trees are the enemy. I would seriously shit if a helicopter swooped in and rescued it like that.

I consider myself to be very mechanically inclined - and I think this is why I like cars so much. A car is a large system - like other large, mechanical systems it requires many components to work in harmony with one another.

Let's go Red Wings!

The owner emailed me about this too. He didn't have the plate number on hand, but said the VIN is ZFFAA02AXA0031377. It has a collector vehicle tag of some sort, HRE 505 wheels and a loud exhaust.

Is it OK to say that I love this ad?

Not taking away from what Audi has done. I just think 7 wins for such a small automaker like Jag is just cool.

Racing drivers to me are like family. I may know them personally, raced with them, or even never heard of them before, and everytime I hear of the racing community losing a driver, My heart gets heavy, and I become very down. I was never on a commercial flight where a plane was pushed to the limits, I did end up on a Cessna Citation X (max cruise speed a touch under Mach 1 iirc) with a bunch of executives from an unnamed auto company (I don't work in that industry, it's a long story I can't really share so I digress). Anyway, they call

Porsche didn't build it for you. They built it for someone else. And they don't care if you don't like it, nor does the guy that bought it. If you want to be an automotive prude, go ahead. But for the rest of us, we'll just go on liking what we like and letting others like what they like.

Great F1 BUT, the Indycar race just ended, great race, very entertaining and as a Canadian, James Hinchcliffs first win, very cool...and WHAT a FINAL 5 laps...I thought Simona would get a podium, ran out of tires.
