THANK YOU! I recently heard an engineer sum it up best with this line (we all come from automotive manufacturing) "Here's a drawing [redacted] did, but he's in aerospace, and we all know they'll build a rocket-ship using popsicle sticks for tools!"

14 tracks, and tracks may be added to Forza 5 in the future but yes, I can't justify $569 for one game, even if it's the greatest racing game in the history of ever.
I've never played any of the GT games but the fact that I can grab a working PS3 off of craigslist for around $100 makes GT6 a likely candidate for my next racing game purchase. I love Forza but I can't justify the expense of an Xbox one when there's truly only one game I'm interested in playing. Especially when I…
This thread is insanely long so I highly doubt anyone will even see this, hell I didn't even read past the first 20 or so replied BUT, as someone who's 6'2" I can say you don't need to pay the huge upgrade fees to have plenty of leg-room. 2 years ago I lost my platinum status on Delta, so I switched to using…
Whew, I read your whole comment before I took the bait. I'll give you this, for the roads/distance/gas prices in Europe a car like I drive (2013 Charger R/T) is totally impractical and silly. For me it's a great highway cruiser, and can seat 4 adults comfortably, oh yeah it also happens to lay down some gnarly rubber…
Hell my mid-90s Donzi 26ft Cabin Cruiser had a Ford 427 in it, and that thing was a monster, I loved it. Great boat too... but boating, as we all know, is 90% work for 10% fun.
Wait wait wait hold the phone. You're telling me... in 1993... not 2003, not 2013, but 1993 Chryco developed an all electric VAN (read: practical) capable of a range between 60-80 miles!?! How have I never heard of this... also why wasn't it offered to the public? Yeah, $120k is expensive but they could've offered it…
I've gotta agree with Matt here. I grew up in Troy, MI a couple miles from Saleen Specialty Vehicles, and thanks to my dad knowing a guy who knew a guy who drank with a guy I got to hang around there quite a bit. They did the paint and assembly for the Ford GT, and I got to go on a few test rides around the Troy Motor…
Doctor Pepper mmmm that's some delicious soda!
YES! Thank you! Drives me friggen nuts!
I live in metro-detroit. So I boat on Lake St. Claire, but it's a hard decision, and the rest of my family can enjoy the boat, my girlfriend, sister, and mother are terrified of small planes, I fly with my dad regularly on business, but again I have to keep the women in my life happy. A happy woman means a happy man.
Yeah, and I already own a boat (which stands for Break Out Another Thousand), and a few fun cars... a plane just isn't in the budget. Even if it would technically be a business write off.
I considered getting my pilots license and buying/leasing a plane but the money spent would pretty much be a wash, and I'd be limited on plane size, range, and location. Not to mention maintenance, and upkeep costs. It's much easier to charter. Basically due to my job I have to be on-call for the whole state of…
Yep, I've taken this class. I fly to a lot of small (mostly uncontrolled) airports for work, and it was $150-200 if I recall, and makes my mother, and girlfriend feel more comfortable, which is worth its weight in gold!
I ALWAYS make a mess when I change my own oil, I'm just a klutz like that. So, it's worth the extra $5-10 (watch for coupons folks!) to have someone else do it. But I do my own brakes, and the like.
I was going to say, they couldn't pick an easier target to "jam up", since its jammed all the time anyway. Hell I'll be amazed if the regular commuters even notice a difference.
Well, I'm a redditor so check that off, atheist... another check mark, and... I think this guy is an amazing person. I won't get into why I'm an atheist or my thoughts on that but I will say if a man in the sky is the reason this guy grew a giant set of balls and stepped up when nobody else would then dammit... we…
This guy gets my official Balls of Steel award... I certainly am too much of a coward/wimp/whatever to step in with a situation like that. I like to think I'm a "do the right thing" kind of guy, and I believe I follow that as much as I can but in a situation like this there's no doubt in my mind I would've stood by…
I'm certainly not defending this guy, I'll start by saying that. But we can relate to a certain degree, well I can anyway. On my commute to and from work the road narrows from 4 lanes to 2. Ever night on the way home I would see this guy in a Dodge Ram wait until the last damn minute. Next day I pull up at the light…
